The situation is dire, with Somalia already teetering on the edge of catastrophe. Approximately 3.4 million people are currently experiencing crisis-level hunger, and projections suggest that this number could soar to 4.4 million by mid-year.

Years of consecutive failed rainy seasons have caused Somalia's worst drought in 40 years, wiping out crops and livestock and leaving millions without livelihoods. As a result, families are facing severe malnutrition, with many dying from hunger.

In response to the looming famine, over 1 million Somalis, two-thirds of whom are children have been forced to flee their homes in search of food and water.

Thousands more are displaced every day. These families endure long, treacherous journeys under the scorching heat, hoping to find aid, but many tragically witness the death of their children, elderly and other vulnerable family members along the way.

People are starving, with children and the elderly suffering the most. Humanity For All’s team members have encountered families who have walked for days through blistering heat, only to arrive at aid camps where there is simply not enough food to go around, and diseases are widespread.

We urgently need your help to save lives and prevent the devastation of famine.
